Title: Tempting
Series: The Tempting Series (Bk #1)
Author: Alex Lucian
Release Date: AVAILABLE NOW!!

His body climbing over mine.
My teeth biting his neck.
His scent on my skin.
My nails carving a path down his back.
His commands whispered in my ear.
All of my senses filled with him.
I knew it was bad. But I craved more.
It had begun innocently enough, bumping into one another in a crowded Boston bar. What followed that night had been anything but innocent.
Because I'd known, even as he'd slid inside of me, that he was my professor. I'd pursued him, a predator stalking its prey.
And he didn't know I was his student.
But he would.
Author's note: This isn't a jail bait student/teacher novel with a butterflies-in-the-belly kind of romance. The characters portrayed in this novel are consenting adults with functioning brains. If curse words, sex, and hard ass college professors with secrets offend you, move right along.
So it's a little past midnight and I'm lying awake thinking of this book. No, not thinking, obsessing. I'm obsessing over what I just read. Honestly, I've said this a couple of times and I'll tell you, I had a full blown love affair with this novel. I'm in LOVE, LUST and EVERYTHING in between.

When it comes to these characters, this authors writing, and this story, I am so blown away. Lord, I want to marry this book. LMAO! Dramatic, I'm sure, but I am over the MOON in love. It's without a doubt going down as one of my absolute favorites. It's up there with Gabriel's Inferno which is one of the BEST Student/Teacher romances I've read. And the crazy thing is: I DIDN'T EXPECT IT TO BE THIS GREAT. AT. ALL!

I read the blurb, I saw the cover, and thought, "Oohhhh, sexy! This should be fun." I thought smut. I didn't think deep, soulful, emotional, angsty. God, I was way off. It was so much more than SMUT. It had SOUL. I'm still trying to catch my breath. In a way I'm shocked. Where did this author come from?! I've scoured Amazon, Goodreads etc, desperate for more, praying to the book Gods that I'd find more novels by this author, but sadly this all Alex Lucian has.

This does NOT read as a debut novel. It's simply too fantastic.

The writing is FLAWLESS. **shivers** It's so perfect. I want to read this author's work FOREVER. I read a lot. I "eat, breathe and sleep" reading. I'm passionate about my books. I'm even more passionate when a book surprises me. And this left me giddy. It's torturing me in the most delightfully delectable way. In a way that my mind is consumed. In the way that my heart is going crazy. I can't stop smiling. My chest feels full as though it wants to explode from all the feelings I have for these characters. I want to take my kindle, dance on my bed like a five year old who just discovered a secret stash of the worlds BEST milky chocolate.

I feel euphoric.

I love this book so much I want to read it again and again.

I love the heroine. Adele, she's feisty and tenacious and bold, but soft and tender where she needs to be. I, too, have daddy issues, so I really related to her pain and also the way she reacts to men. She felt realistic. So completely me. Yeah, that's it, she felt like ME. I related to her on a deep level. When she hurt, I hurt. When she smiled and swooned, I did the same. I wanted her to feel loved and wanted and needed and every time she was rejected I felt that sting as though I was being whipped. I felt the burn in my heart. I truly loved the Heroine as much as I did the Hero.

And Nathan... Nathan stole my air. His pain and guilt was a tangible emotion that carried through the pages palpably. A broken man whose moments of utter despair and anger, rage over his past, made me want to wrap him in my arms and love him entirely. Not only that, the man is a BEAST--In bed. In life. Everywhere. He about melted my panties off with his dirty mouth, his intensity so wholly consuming. He is an alpha male after my own heart.

I loved the progression between these characters from start to finish. From lust to love. It was REAL. It was AUTHENTIC. There were no eye rolling moments. No moments where I thought, "wow! that's far fetched." I can't say it enough, this is not some poorly written student/teacher book. This isn't some forbidden, tawdry romance written just to get you hot and bothered. This is MORE. It's EVERYTHING.

I'm rambling. I know this review is just a bunch of rambling. But I can't form any more thoughts than this because I'm still in the book and I need time to process. I will come back and add more to this review, but I wanted to post something and URGE you to buy AND READ Tempting. It's a must read. Don't buy it and leave it on your Kindle. READ THE BOOK. Read it and really absorb the greatness.

I am totally impressed with this author. I will be reading every book that is released. I can't express my love for the words that were laid on the pages. Marvelous.

BRAVO. That's all I can say. BRAVO. What a great novel. So BRILLIANT. So fantastic. So intense. Completely phenomenal. I've said it a million times and I'll say it once more. I LOVED IT. 5 stars is simply not enough.

Title: Beauty Sleeps
Genre: PNR
Cover By: Perfect Pear
Cover Model: Brendan Gregory

Xavier has watched Gwen for years, sneaking outside her window just to watch her sleep. She calls to him in a way he doesn't understand.
After he loses his mom and his sister in a tragic accident, he disappears into the woods and lets his wolf take over.
Gwen has been waiting around for her knight in shining armor to show up, but years have passed since she reached her mating age, and he still hasn't come.
When Xavier makes his way back to Gray Ridge, one scent captivates him like no other...
He's on a mission. Claiming Gwen as his mate is all that matters, even if she doesn't remember him.
What he isn't prepared for is Alpha Stone keeping them apart.
Warning: This fairy tale contains a hero in desperate need of his sleeping beauty, a heroine who wants to mate with her beast, and an alpha trying to keep it from happening. This is meant to be over-the-top, extra sweet, and lots of fun. Come roll around in it.

“You’re acting like an alpha a-hole.”

He growls at me, drawing more attention to us. If he wasn’t my brother, I probably would’ve pissed myself. The urge to bare my neck to him is strong, but the urge to protect a fellow female of my pack is stronger. Alpha blood runs through my veins, too, and I feel it coursing strong in this moment.

Then suddenly, Stone is gone.

He hits the unforgiving concrete with a loud thud, rolling into one of the vendor tents beside us. He brings it, and whatever was on top of him, down around him. Instantly, Dominic is there, ripping the tent covering off Stone and an unknown male.

When freed, both Stone and the male spring to their feet ready to lunge at each other, but Dominic jumps between them.

“X! No!” Dominic shouts at the man.

Stone looks at the unknown male as if he knows him, then his eyes shoot to mine. I look at Stone before my eyes are pulled back to the male who tackled him. His back is to me, but I can see he’s a freaking giant. No, ‘giant’ isn’t even the right word. He has to be a shifter, but I haven’t caught his smell yet. No way is he that big and not one of us. I’ve meet a lot of shifters in my life, mainly wolves, but none have ever been as big as he is.

“I won’t let him take her,” Stone says, looking around. He’s probably realizing we’re in the middle of town during a fair and everyone is looking at us. And a lot of the eyes seeing this are human. This could get out of control.

“Mine,” the man growls, turning to meet my eyes. The one word takes the air right out of my lungs.

Mate. It rings loud in my ears, but I’m so stunned by his appearance I just stand there, his familiar eyes locked on mine. He looks savage. Like a wild beast. They say a wolf shifter would never hurt his mate, but this man-beast doesn’t look totally in control. Like the part of him that’s human is no longer with him.

“He’s not stable. I won’t let him take her,” my brother says, in a calm voice this time. Probably trying to get his own wolf in check so it doesn’t break free and send the tourists running and screaming. “I’ll put him down first.”

A loud growl fills the air, and it takes me a moment to realize it’s coming from me. Anger like I’ve never felt before pours through me at the idea of someone putting my mate down. I might be fucking terrified in this moment, but the idea of someone hurting him makes my eyes start to change. It takes everything in me to stop the shift and keep my skin.

“Everyone just calm down. Xavier, come over here to me.” Ruby’s soft voice penetrates my anger, bringing forth another feeling. Jealousy.

“Mine!” my wolf snaps, making Ruby raise her hands. I can’t seem to control myself.

“Goddamn it. All of you, knock it the fuck off,” Dominic yells. Everything has gone completely quiet. No one is moving or making a sound. “Let him take her. He won’t hurt her.”

“No.” Stone's answer is immediate and final.

“I’ll fight you and win.” The man everyone but me seems to know crouches lower to the ground, and my fear rises. He must smell it, because his eyes shoot back to mine. “You have nothing to fear from me. I’ll prove I’m strong and a good mate. You’ll see.”

“Don’t hurt my brother.” I need to stop him because I do, in fact, think he might win a fight against the alpha, given his size and the fact that he’s literally busting out of his clothes.

“I never wish to harm your family unless they keep you from me. It’s best they learn now that I’m strong. They’re no competition against me. I’ll always win.” He says it with such certainly that I want to believe him.

I can tell Stone’s fighting everything in him to keep his skin and not to lash out. I’m guessing the only thing holding him back is the importance of protecting this town's little growly secret. But I’m also guessing my mate doesn’t feel the same. I can tell he’ll do whatever it takes to have me, and he’s not leaving without me, no matter the price.

“I’ll have to get in the middle of you and him.”

He growls at my words, then moves faster than I thought was possible in human form. Before I can blink, I’m in his arms and over his shoulder. But just as he has me, he suddenly stops, falling to his knees and pulling me from his shoulder down to his chest.

“They can’t keep you from me.” He falls the rest of the way forward, softly pinning me to the ground. “My beauty.”

I grab his long-bearded face in my hands as his eyes start to roll back in his head. Fear shoots through my body like I’ve never felt before. “Someone help me! Something’s wrong with him!” I try to push him off me, but he’s pure solid muscle and a dead weight on top of me.

After just a second, I feel his weight ease, and I see Stone and Dominic are lifting him from me.

“What’s wrong with him?” I ask in panic as I reach for him.

“I tranqed him.”

Title: Big Rock
Author: Lauren Blakely
Release Date: JANUARY 6, 2015!!

It's not just the motion of the ocean, ladies. It's definitely the SIZE of the boat too.
And I've got both firing on all cylinders. In fact, I have ALL the right assets. Looks, brains, my own money, and a big cock.
You might think I'm an asshole. I sound like one, don’t I? I'm hot as sin, rich as heaven, smart as hell and hung like a horse.
Guess what? You haven't heard my story before. Sure, I might be a playboy, like the NY gossip rags call me. But I’m the playboy who’s actually a great guy. Which makes me one of a kind.
The only trouble is, my dad needs me to cool it for a bit. With conservative investors in town wanting to buy his flagship Fifth Avenue jewelry store, he needs me not only to zip it up, but to look the part of the committed guy. Fine. I can do this for Dad. After all, I’ve got him to thank for the family jewels. So I ask my best friend and business partner to be my fiancĂ©e for the next week. Charlotte’s up for it. She has her own reasons for saying yes to wearing this big rock.
And pretty soon all this playing pretend in public leads to no pretending whatsoever in the bedroom, because she just can’t fake the kind of toe-curling, window-shattering orgasmic cries she makes as I take her to new heights between the sheets.
But I can’t seem to fake that I might be feeling something real for her.
What the fuck have I gotten myself into with this…big rock?
BIG ROCK is a standalone, dirty romance novel written from the guy’s POV by NYT Bestselling author Lauren Blakely…
My dick is fucking awesome.
But don’t just take my word for it. Consider all its accomplishments.
First, let’s start with the obvious one.
Sure, some people will tell you that size does not matter. You know what I’ll tell you? They lie.
You don’t want a tiny diamond on your finger when you can have three carats. You don’t want a one-dollar bill when you can have a Benjamin. And you don’t want to ride a miniature pony when you can saddle up on a rock-star cock at the rodeo of your pleasure.
Why? Because bigger is better. It’s more fun. Ask any woman who’s had to utter the dreaded words, “Is it in yet?”
No woman has ever had to ask me that.
You’re probably wondering by now—just how big is it? C’mon. A gentleman doesn’t tell. I may fuck like a god, but I’m still a gentleman. I’ll open your door before I open your legs. I’ll hold your coat for you, I’ll pay for dinner, and I’ll treat you like a queen in and out of bed.
But I get it. You want an image in your mind. A measurement in inches to make your mouth water. Fine. Imagine this. Picture your fantasy-sized cock; mine’s fucking bigger.
Moving on to looks. Let’s be honest. Some dicks are just motherfucking ugly. I won’t get into all the reasons why. You know what they are, and for now, when it comes to my best asset, all I want you thinking about are these words: long, thick, smooth, hard. If the Renaissance masters were carving sculptures of cocks, mine would be the model for all of them.
But honestly, none of this would matter if my dick didn’t possess the most important attribute of all.
Ultimately, a man’s dick should be measured by the number of orgasms it delivers. I’m not talking about the solo flights. That’s cheating. I’m talking about the Os that can make a woman’s back arch, her toes curl, her windows shatter, her world rock.
How much pleasure has my dick wrought? I don’t kiss and tell, but I’ll leave you with this. My dick has a perfect track record.
That’s why it fucking sucks that he has to go on hiatus.

And that’s not all! Lauren Blakely has a surprise for you!
✮✮✮ MISTER ORGASM is coming soon! ✮✮✮
That’s right!
Lauren has a second standalone romantic comedy headed your way in Summer 2016!

Just call me Mr. Orgasm. No, really. I insist.
Orgasms are my specialty. Delivering them. Administering them. Giving them in multiples. Then doing it again for an encore. I’m like the superhero of pleasure.
But before anyone gets all up in a lather about my “manwhore ways,” remember this. You probably didn’t even look at me years ago. You likely didn’t give me the time of day when I was the quiet geek bent over his notebook drawing cartoons about a caped crusader bestowing orgasmic pleasure to womankind.
Now, that I’m creator of the hottest animated TV show in the world — The Adventures of Mr. Orgasm — everything has changed. The women have lined up. The checks roll in. And the life I’m living is gooooooood — looks, talent, and a masterful dong have gotten me far.
There’s only one thing in my way — the woman I took home last night has turned out to be my new boss.
Looks like the Adventures of Mr. Orgasm have only just begun…

Title: Hearts of Blue
Author: LH Cosway
Release Date: NOVEMBER 19, 2015!

She upholds the law. He breaks it.
Two blue hearts, both alike in bravery
In not-so-fair London, where we lay our scene
From gun crime to petty theft
Where family is blood and survival makes hands unclean
In this place, we find two hearts who should be foes
And yet, amidst the turmoil their love still grows
Misadventure abounds and the divide will bring them strife
But with luck, death doesn’t always mean an end to life
Hearts of Blue is a standalone contemporary romance that tells the story of star-crossed lovers, Karla Sheehan and Lee Cross, a police constable and the thief who steals her heart.
"The thin blue line would always lie between us, with me on the side of order and him on the side of chaos."

LH Cosway exemplifies why I love to read. In no uncertain terms, she is brilliant. Her unputdownable stories encompass everything I love in a great book. I can always count on this author to overwhelm me in a literary haze with her stunning writing style and her fascinating characterization. This entire series consists of the most unforgettable, passionate, soul-searing stories surrounding the most captivating cast of characters I've ever read. Hearts of Blue can officially be added to that list. It exceeded all expectations, Cosway ensnaring me with her words yet again.

Hearts of Blue is a forbidden romance wrought with reckless attraction and devastating unpredictability. This story exists in the grey area, the blurred line between right and wrong, an invisible line that two hearts naively believe they can ignore. Karla Sheehan, a London cop, and Lee Cross, a street thug, have effectively avoided succumbing to the blistering attraction between them for months. It turns out that the thin blue line separating good from bad, right from wrong is thinner than either side ever knew until they each discover something they desperately long for on the other side. The laws of attraction trump the laws of the land in this book and the course of events that follow are rife with heartbreak, sexual tension, and brutal uncertainty.

I never expected to love Lee Cross the way I did. He's the bad boy personified, but every sweet, sexy, flirtatious word out of his smart mouth ensured there was no resisting this intense attraction. It's no wonder straightlaced Karla couldn't do it either. But damn it if she didn't try. This story had me laughing out loud and smiling from ear to ear more than once. As intense and emotional as this plot was at times, there's an abundance of humorous exchanges and witty banter between every magnetic character within these pages... and there are many. Hearts of Blue is as heartwarming as it is angst-ridden, as sweet and sexy as it is nerve wracking. The sweet moments left me swooning, while the unpredictable, dangerous side of this story had my heart racing, my stomach in knots.

LH Cosway has unsurprisingly delivered another spellbinding, smart love story of two hearts facing impossible odds and she put me through a whole gamut of emotions on every single page. I loved everything about this story and just when I thought I couldn't feel more satisfied, Cosway teased me with glimpses into the next two installments about the PRECISE characters I prayed would get their own books. This series continues to blow my mind with every story and I can not wait for more.

Jessica's Rating:

Tony was about to throw some barb back at him when his radio went off with a call from dispatch. He stepped away so that he could talk to the person on the other end, thus leaving me alone with Lee, who leaned against the doorjamb and gave me a heated little look. “I have to say, I like you in uniform.”
“Oh, shut it.” I rolled my eyes. There was nothing attractive about my uniform. It was basically men’s clothing on a woman.
“I’m not lying. How’s about you come up to my room for a bit and I’ll show you how much I like it?” He paused, eyes flicking to the top of my head as he winked. “You can even leave your hat on.”
Completely against my own will, I snickered a laugh, folding my arms across my chest. “No thanks, Tom Jones.”
“I think you’ll find it was Randy Newman who penned the tune. Tom Jones did the cover,” Lee quipped.
I made a concerted effort to regain my professionalism and throw a bucket of cold water over his flirty banter. “When you see your brother, tell him to get himself down the nick to see me.”
“Fucking hell, Snap, you really are Ross Sheehan’s daughter. Growing up must have been shit for you.”
The empathy in his voice caught me off guard. I swallowed but didn’t say anything. Our gazes locked and held, something thick and unspoken passing between us. He took a step outside, past the threshold of his doorway and onto the street. I glanced down at the toes of my boots and back up again, a strand of hair falling from behind my ear. Lee’s hand reached out, as though he were about to tuck it back in, but then he froze before he could touch me. Touching a constable could technically be considered assault. And technically, I could arrest him for that. Maybe that’s why he stopped. Or maybe it was something else.
His eyes softened when he whispered, “If that cranky string of piss weren’t with you right now, it’d be a whole other ball game.”
I looked to Tony, who had just finished with his call. Lee turned and casually went back inside his house, closing the door softly behind him.

Title: Corrupt
Author: Penelope Douglas
Release Date: AVAILABLE NOW!!

I was told that dreams were our heart’s desires. My nightmares, however, became my obsession.
His name is Michael Crist.
My boyfriend’s older brother is like that scary movie that you peek through your hand to watch. He is handsome, strong, and completely terrifying. The star of his college’s basketball team and now gone pro, he’s more concerned with the dirt on his shoe than me.
But I noticed him.
I saw him. I heard him. The things that he did, and the deeds that he hid…For years, I bit my nails, unable to look away.
Now, I’ve graduated high school and moved on to college, but I haven’t stopped watching Michael. He’s bad, and the dirt I’ve seen isn’t content to stay in my head anymore.
Because he’s finally noticed me.

Her name is Erika Fane, but everyone calls her Rika.
My brother’s girlfriend grew up hanging around my house and is always at our dinner table. She looks down when I enter a room and stills when I am close. I can always feel the fear rolling off of her, and while I haven’t had her body, I know that I have her mind. That’s all I really want anyway.
Until my brother leaves for the military, and I find Rika alone at college.
In my city.
The opportunity is too good to be true as well as the timing. Because you see, three years ago she put a few of my high school friends in prison, and now they’re out.
We’ve waited. We’ve been patient. And now every last one of her nightmares will come true.

I turned and stalked off, taking a left down the hallway toward the elevator. The doors opened as soon as I pushed the button, and I stepped inside, trying to calm my racing heart.
They still intimidated me.
And excited me. And challenged me. And knotted me up.
I’d kind of wanted to go to a party but not with them.
The doors started closing, but just then a hand shot into the elevator, and I jumped, seeing the doors re-open. I sucked in a breath, staring wide-eyed as Michael reached in, grabbed my shirt by the collar with one hand, and pulled me out.
“Michael!” I shouted.
I stumbled into him, and before I knew what was happening, he grabbed my wrists and locked them behind my back, walking into me and forcing me backward, back down the hall toward the kitchen.
“Let me go!” I demanded, my lips brushing the tip of his chin.
“I don’t know, guys,” he teased over my head, “she still seems pretty fucking easy to push around. What do you think?”
Laughter greeted me as he forced me back into the living area.
Every muscle in my body was on fire, and the tips of my toes kept getting caught under his sneakers.
I twisted my body, trying to break his hold. “What the hell are you doing?”
I pushed against his chest and jerked my body to the left, tearing out of his hold with every muscle I could muster.
I stumbled, losing my balance, and fell backward, crashing to the floor. Pain shot through my ass, running down my legs as the fall knocked the wind out me.
Shooting my hands behind me, I pushed myself up and bent my knees, looking up at him as he advanced.
He stalked over and then stopped, towering over me.  I immediately moved my hands and feet, crawling backward, away from him.
But then I felt something at my back, and I halted. I twisted my head, seeing a dark pant leg, and I didn’t know if it was Damon, Will, or Kai, but it didn’t matter. I was closed in.
Oh, no. I slowly raised my eyes, seeing Michael’s lips tilt in a devious smile. I stopped breathing, seeing him lower his body to the floor, planting his knees between my bent legs, and his hands at my sides.
My neck arched back as his face hovered over mine, but I tried to keep myself up as much as possible, no matter how close his body got.
“I thought you were one of us,” his whispered, his breath caressing my lips. “I thought you could play.”
I stilled, staring into his eyes.
You’re one of us now. Will had said that to me on that night so long ago.
Michael’s amber eyes searched mine and then dropped to my mouth, his breathing growing heavy as he stared at me like he was about to take a bite.
I wanted to cry. What the hell was going on?
Three years ago was nearly the happiest night of my life, and it quickly became the worst. And ever since then, Michael not only acted as if I didn’t exist, but also, at times, as if he wished I didn’t.
Now the guys were free, and they were all back together again. What did I have to do with any of this? What did he want with me?
“I don’t know this game,” I told him, barely audible.
He stared into my eyes, thinning his own as if studying me. “All you need to know,” he finally answered, “is that you can’t tap out.”

Title: My Soul to Keep
Author: Kennedy Ryan
Release Date: AVAILABLE NOW!!

It seems the things worth keeping are often the hardest to hold...
I had two things in life that mattered. My mother and my music.
Mama was taken from me too soon, and now music is all I have left. It’s the thing that’s pushed me right out of backwoods Georgia into Los Angeles, where the line between fantasy and reality shimmers and blurs. I’m finally making my way, making my mark. I can’t afford to fall for one of music's brightest stars. Not now. Music is all I have left, and I’m holding on tight with both hands. I won’t let go, not even for Rhyson Gray.
I had one thing in my life that mattered – music. The only constant, it’s taken me to heights most people only dream about; a gift dropped in my lap at birth. I thought it was enough. I thought it was everything until I met Kai. Now she’s all I think about, like a song I can't get out of my head. If I have to chase her, if I have to give up everything - I will. And once she's mine, I won't let go.
I shouldn’t have come. All the things I felt and fought, the things I suspected he felt too, he just spewed all over me. And as much as I want to be, I’m not sure I’m ready. I’ll never forget seeing my Mama in bed for days after Daddy left. And even though she got up, I suspect a part of her never left that bed, but just stayed there, waiting. We had to leave the house where she grew up and where I spent my first years, because Daddy left us with nowhere to go. Mama learned to stand on her two feet, and I’ve done the same. I just didn’t count on Rhyson sweeping me off of them.

“We’re obviously on different pages about this.” I pull my hands free and turn to leave, but he steps in front of me, blocking my grand exit. “Let’s talk later.”

“Enough talking.”

The heat of his body grabs me before his hands do. He traps my chin between two fingers, taking my mouth in a paradox of rough and tender. I want to move. To slide away from his body pressing me into the pool table. But I can’t. Not with his hand caressing my back. Not with his tongue in my mouth. Not with his erection pressing into my stomach. I can’t. I won’t. I have been denying myself this, and I’m so damn hungry. My mouth opens under his, ravenous and wet and hot. His groan vibrates against my lips.

“Yes. Good God, yes, Pep.” His words slip down my throat.

I strain up on tiptoes, clawing my fingers into his dark hair, forcing him closer. He lifts me onto the pool table, planting himself between my knees. His fingers skim my bare thigh, working up my leg until he reaches a damp patch of silk. He pushes my panties aside, rubbing his hand into the wet flesh there before sliding one long finger and then another inside of me. I rock into these fingers which have awed millions with their skill. They own me. I’m the instrument in his hands. He’s playing me. Plucking at me. Strumming me.

He tugs at the wide neck of my sweater until it falls away from my shoulder, slipping his hand in and cupping my naked breast. He brushes his fingers over my nipple, and I lose my mind and every inhibition. My head flops back and I stretch my legs wider, offering him anything he wants.

“Are you kidding me?” His question burns the vulnerable curve of my neck as he drags his lips to my shoulder. “You come here wearing no bra and think I won’t…”

He abandons the words, his dark, untidy head disappearing under my sweater, and before I have time to regain even millimeters of sanity, my nipple is in his mouth and he’s suckling me. Not gentle. Not soft. My breasts are so small, he almost eats me whole. Every draw, every suck, every bite sends a power surge to my core until my knees hold his hips in a desperate grip, and my nails rake across the flat surface of the pool table behind me.

His mouth at my breast. His fingers inside me. His clean scent surrounding me. I have nowhere to hide anymore. I am exposed. I want to spread myself wide open for him. That voice that has been telling me I can’t rely on him. I can’t trust him. I can’t need him—that voice is stunned into silence by his thorough possession of my body, by the inferno between my legs, blazing a hole right through my soul and scorching my heart.

I just can't write about myself in third person for one more bio! I'm a wife, a mom, a writer, an advocate for families living with autism. That's me in a nutshell. Crack the nut, and you'll find a Southern girl gone Southern California who loves pizza and Diet Coke, and wishes she got to watch a lot more television. You can usually catch me up too late, on social media too much, or FINALLY putting a dent in my ever-growing To Be Read list!

Title: Emeralds
Author: K.A. Linde
Release Date: NOVEMBER 16, 2015!!

Walking away from him was easy.
The first time at least.
Then he shows up late one night at Trihn’s ballet company, and all bets are off. Trihn knows that she should be careful. But when it comes to Preston Whitehall, she throws all her carefully constructed reasons for not dating out the window.
He’s cunning, charming, and hot as sin. And he knows exactly how to use those qualities to get what he wants. Soon, Trihn is dragged deeper and deeper into his rapidly intensifying whirlwind.
But where a storm is brewing…destruction and devastation follow.
Find out how Trihn goes from prodigy to party girl in this sexy full-length prequel to Platinum in the USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde's All That Glitters series.
KA Linde went AWOL for the first half of this book. The angst and razor-sharp dialogue I've come to expect from her was notably absent and in its place were two sugary sweet characters jumping head first into insta-attraction. Whaaaaa? Yup. It happened. Trihn is so different from pretty much every female character Linde has penned to date. She's... nice. She's pretty passive. There's no obvious drama, no baggage following this girl around. Enter Preston. He's equally nice. So much so, one might wonder if he's too good to be true. They date, they eat cupcakes, they text, they have coffee. Its pretty mundane. Pretty normal and also pretty atypical of the author. But it's light, fun and sexy. Never boring... Just smooth sailing.

Around the 50% mark, the queen came out of hiding, riding on a huge freaking bomb she dropped in the middle of this book. An unexpected, completely infuriating, angst-bomb. Shocking drama ensues and it never let's up, right up to the very last word of this book. Linde consistently weaves together a relatively complex cast of characters, introducing an array of personalities alluding to an ending that could seriously go anywhere. You never really know what will unfold, who the major players will be until she wants you to. This is, of course, Trihn's novella leading into Platinum, so once this chapter closes, we're left off knowing there will be lots more to come for Trihn, but where the story will go is anyone's guess. This was fun, a quick, little angsty treat to whet the appetite before the main dish. Emeralds is rife with WTF moments, infuriating jerks and a main character that I so hope finds the happy ending she deserves in Platinum!

Jessica's Rating:

By the end of the night, her girlfriends were enamored with him, the guys were asking him about his workout regimen and promising to get together for gym dates—which she assured him was not entirely what he was thinking—and Trihn found herself completely in thrall with him.

He took her by the hand and pulled her out onto the mostly empty balcony. He twirled her around in place. She laughed and rose onto her tiptoes, spinning in place like a perfect ballerina, before being drawn into his arms.

“This was fun. You seemed worried at first,” he told her.

“I’ve never brought anyone to a model event with me besides my sister and my best friend,” she confessed.

“I’m honored,” he said, leaning his head against her forehead.

A spark ignited in her stomach as she swam in the sea of blue before her.

Everything narrowed down to this one moment—the look in his eyes, the feel of his hands sneaking under her shirt and grasping her skin, the energy igniting between them, their breaths intermingling in the small distance separating their bodies.

She felt herself freeze.

This wasn’t some fling that she would cast aside for the next hottie at a different shoot. This wasn’t some guy she’d make out with in a club after a good drink. This wasn’t a mistake.

This felt right, inexplicably right, in a way she had never felt before.

Their noses touched. She slid her hands up around his neck, drawing him closer. She wanted this. It wasn’t because she was listening to everyone around her, telling her to have a good time, to let herself get lost in something, not to be serious. It was because he made her serious nature seem normal. He made her feel…

That was enough for now. It didn’t have to be more. Just the promise of a beginning.

Their lips slid together, and the entire world disappeared completely, utterly falling away into some other universe. Her heart rushed into her throat, and her whole body contracted at the feel of him pressing against her. His tongue slipped invitingly against her bottom lip, and she opened the invitation with zeal, meeting him halfway. They moved against each other with practiced ease. Her whole body trembled with the heat and desire coursing through her.

Right then, she had never wanted anything more than this kiss. It was both tempting and terrifying because she felt as if she would give up everything to have this again.

As he leaned her against the railing, promising her the world with this kiss, the biggest cost she worried about was her heart.

Title: Reapers Fall
Author: Joanna Wylde
Release Date: AVAILABLE NOW!!

The New York Times bestselling author of Reaper’s Stand is back in her “uber-alpha rough world of MCs”* as one woman’s future is rocked by the man whose hardcore past could destroy her…
He never meant to hurt her.
Levi “Painter” Brooks was nothing before he joined the Reapers motorcycle club. The day he patched in, they became his brothers and his life. All they asked in return was a strong arm and unconditional loyalty—a loyalty that’s tested when he’s caught and sentenced to prison for a crime committed on their behalf.
Melanie Tucker may have had a rough start, but along the way she’s learned to fight for her future. She’s escaped from hell and started a new life, yet every night she dreams of a biker whose touch she can’t forget. It all started out so innocently—just a series of letters to a lonely man in prison. Friendly. Harmless. Safe.
Now Painter Brooks is coming home… and Melanie’s about to learn that there’s no room for innocence in the Reapers MC.
“This whole place looks like a crime scene,” he said, winking at me. “Oh, God. What a metaphor for our relationship.”

Joanna Wylde is a girl after my own heart. She knows what I like and she delivers. I love a fantastic biker romance that hurts so good. I love a tough road, I love characters that piss me off, break my heart and put me back together. I love that and I got it and then some with Reaper's Fall.

Wylde goes above and beyond in the way she crafts this club, this whole world, these characters, all of it. The timing of each Reaper story overlaps previous books in a way that they never pick up where the last book left of, rather they are woven together so the reader is given an all encompassing view into the lives of these bikers, their women, their drama, their relations with other clubs. Each story is another piece of a huge puzzle, another brick in the wall and it's executed seamlessly.

I absolutely LOVED Melanie and Painter (when I wasn't hating him). Melanie's inner monologue had me smiling from ear to ear at times. She's sarcastic and quirky and I loved being in her head.  She is fiercely feminine and she has a vulnerability about her that I just connected with immediately. I really really loved her. With alternating first person points of view, I was equally enamored with Painter, with his thoughts and his inner monologue. With the way he looked at Melanie, the way he loved his club. He's deliciously alpha-biker-esque (yeah, that's a word) in the most glorious ways. He's abrasive and brash and tormented and I loved to hate him and hated to love him.

This is a friends to lovers romance... turned enemies to lovers romance... turned second chance love story... but a bad-ass biker version. Melanie and Painter have clearly wanted each other... BAD... since they first met. But for some odd reason, Painter has put Melanie in the friend zone. The sexual tension is at an all time high for so much of this book. But thanks to a crazy prologue, we know it goes somewhere... eventually. And we also know it crashes and burns... at some point. It's a bumpy road fraught with angst and rage and heartbreak. The sensual build, the push and pull, the frustration... it makes this road so deliciously addictive. While the second half of this book didn't completely own me in the same way the first half did, I couldn't put this book down. I love this series fiercely, and Reaper's Fall is up there with my favorites!

Jessica's Rating:

“You want to watch a movie or something?” she asked, nodding toward the TV. I had a decent one, too. Giant-ass flat-screen—homecoming present from the club.

“Sure,” I said, reaching for the remote. I didn’t have cable, but Ruger had set up some kind of box thingie for me so I could stream shit. “Whatcha in the mood for?”

“Not horror,” she said quickly, and I laughed again, remembering that first evening I’d spent with her at Pic’s house. She’d been so young and scared and vulnerable . . . I’d wanted to eat her up.

I still wanted to eat her.

“I can’t believe that you and Puck were supposed to be watching over me, and then you put in a slasher movie. That’s not how you make a girl feel safe.”

“No horror,” I agreed, although the thought of holding her for a couple hours while she was scared shitless appealed way more than it should. Watch it, asshole. “How about Star Wars?”

“You like Star Wars?”

I shrugged. “Everyone likes Star Wars. You know, I’m pretty damned sure Han Solo was a biker.”

She giggled. “You mean, like a space biker?”

“See, when you say it like that it sounds stupid.”

“I wanted to be Princess Leia. She’s badass,” she said, taking a deep drink of her beer. I watched as her lips wrapped around the neck, her throat swallowing. Oh fuck, that was good. She set the beer down on the coffee table with a clink, then let loose with the biggest burp I’d ever heard.

“Fucking hell,” I said, stunned. “I didn’t think girls could burp like that. Shit. Impressive, Mel. Very impressive.”

She grinned at me.

“We’re friends,” she told me. “And friends don’t need to worry about stuff like that. Let me guess—you’ve never had a female friend before?”

“Not really,” I admitted. “I’m think I’m a little scared.”

Scared and turned on, which was weird.

“You should be. I can do the whole alphabet.”

Damn. I kinda wanted to see that.
