**Although part of the Manwhore series, this book can be read as standalone.**
How do I feel? God, I feel RUINED! Ruined in the most magically, beautiful way. I have to say, I think Ladies Man is Katy's BEST BOOK yet. By far. It's FANTASTIC. I don't know if it was the sexy, torturous angst that drove me passionately insane, or the flirty banter that was whip smart and unexpectedly emotional, or the fact that the plot line had some seriously GASP-Y moments, but this book SCREAMED at me.

I was intoxicated. By E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. All the moments between Tahoe and Gina enthralled me. Once I started reading, that was that. I inhaled it. My emotions ping ponged from page to page. This was a book of FEELS for me. I cried. I laughed. I swooned. I blushed. I yearned. I shivered. I NEEDED. That's the biggest thing, Ladies Man stirred an intense yearning in the depth of my belly.

I WANTED Tahoe.
I ACHED for Tahoe.
It was INTENSE. All consuming.

He captivated me. There were a MILLION moments where I was desperate to get inside the book. I felt like I had to claw my way in and live and breathe there. I tumbled, fell crazy and madly in love with both characters. The back and forth between them about killed me. It slayed me in the best way and kept me hooked. I needed it to work out for them. I needed it to be good. And good it was.

"We stare at each other, and he looks at my mouth like it is all that exists for him right now. My heart starts pounding. I’m scared. His stare is frightening—it’s so blue, so clear, so expectant. So fucking hungry, this guy would eat me up alive and leave no bones to bury." <<---- AHHHHHHHHHHHH! See? Fuck, man.

I'm telling you these two. The want between them is INTOXICATING. You feel as if you're drowning in their lust. It's overwhelming. Tahoe and Gina fight it. They have enough respect for each other to know that if they go there, they will ruin their friendship. They're both not ready.

Ladies Man is a friends to lovers Standalone. It's a slow, DECADENT burn that makes you ache with need. It makes you desperate. It hurts a little.

I relished that pain.
I ate it up.
It made everything feel ALIVE. It gave the emotions in this story a raw pulse.

"He opens his arm, smiling a harmless smile, but the look in his eyes… God, that’s as harmless as the look of a demon. Even when I see all sorts of things lurking there—darkly in his gaze—I am tempted to trust him. Trust that despite his male reactions to me, he’s more determined to be friends."

TAHOE ROTH. ***fanself*** I'm sitting here overheating as I write this.

He's a BEAST.
A freaking BEAST.

I don't know what to say to do him justice. I could pull quote after quote from this book that would make you quiver. He's a TRUE ladies man and it drove me crazy. But while he was a playboy, you could see the man beneath. Always. That man, the one who was hiding, had so much to give. He would drop ANYTHING for Gina. To him, everything was ultimately all about Gina. He'd be there, make her smile, spoon her up, fill all her emotional voids and protect her even if it meant protecting her from HIM.

Tahoe’s heart is so good, it blinded me. I wanted him. I wanted to fucking crawl all over him and steal him from Gina. ** Hahahahaha**

God, it was so much. The push and pull in this story owned every page. And while Tahoe is this magnetic being, Gina is almost the opposite. She's vulnerable and a little lost. Her roommate just got married and now she has this apartment she can't afford. She has a history of being over looked, too. Her parents are kind of flaky and she's never really had a SOLID home. She struggles with her self-image. She struggles with feeling good enough. And all she wants now, at this time in her life, is stability. She wants a home that is all HERS. And someone to love and keep her warm at night.

Ladies Man is a story of two people with different issues that are initially pulled together by their close circle of friends. But Gina and Tahoe end up having an attraction so magnetic it cannot be denied. No matter how hard they try, they eventually can’t fight it anymore. It’s MAGIC. It’s BLISSFULLY amazing.

"He kisses my lips.
He sucks on my neck.
"You’re a fucking dream. You’re a fucking dream and I can’t believe I’m not dreaming you right now," he whispers."

I've always been a fan of all Katy Evans stories but this one felt special. For me, Katy is an author of FEELS. Even her lighter books have a thick undercurrent of raw emotion. She is the QUEEN of the slow build . She did it in REAL with Remy and Brooke. She did it in Manwhore with Malcolm and Rachel. And once again she did with Tahoe and Gina. I can't say enough good things about her writing, her novels, her characters. She is MY author. A go to that never lets me down. I could read her ALL DAY, EVERY DAY and never tire. She feeds by bookish soul.

Overall, Ladies Man is a SLAM DUNK, A HOME RUN, A HAT TRICK, A TOUCHDOWN. It is everything I want in a read. My version of book perfection. I cannot say enough good things. It’s an INTOXICATING, ENTICING friends to lovers story that DECIMATED me. I couldn't get enough. I still can't get enough. I highly recommend it to those who are looking for a great read. It is a spin-off of the Manwhore Series, but can absolutely be read as a Standalone novel. Though I must say, if you haven't met Rachel and Malcolm, you should do that. They are BEYOND FABULOUS.

Angie's Rating:

You have absolutely no idea how desperately I needed Tahoe Roth to have his own book. Well, if you've read Katy Evans' Manwhore series, then maybe you know EXACTLY how badly I needed Tahoe Roth to get his own book. The sexual tension brimming between Tahoe and Gina in this series was a few sexy grins away from overshadowing Rachel and Saint's own romance in those books, that's how desperately I craved more of their story. I was distracted by them. I was hungry for them. The chemistry and the fierce denial and the repeated insistence that Gina and Tahoe are strictly in the friend zone had me SALIVATING for their story. I can not describe the feelings of excitement and anticipation and desperation I felt going into Ladies Man. This book had me hooked before it even existed.

This isn't a flawless read but it is an addictive one that had me so consumed, those flaws were not hard to overlook. The first 20% felt a little disjointed and choppy as Evans was setting up the story and the character dynamic, but the story progresses quickly and somewhere around the 25% mark, I think Evans found her stride because things fell into a delicious smoothness. It all felt much more honest, and I immediately went from spectator to a fully immersed part of this story. There were also a few times later on where I thought things felt rushed, like I wished more had been said to make the story feel more thorough, but looking back, the story itself is so beautiful and so emotion inducing, that I can easily overlook the things I wish were said because the things that actually were said were perfect.

Tahoe Roth, ladies man extraordinaire, takes infuriating leading male to a whole new level. Despite his warmth and his fun-loving personality, Tahoe is an impenetrable vault, keeping even his closest friends at a safe distance. He doesn't let anyone in, doesn't share the deepest parts of himself, and just when he unknowingly reveals even the tiniest bit of the real Tahoe, he shuts down again. It's frustrating and infuriating and it makes for a painstaking read, one I couldn't put down because I was so obsessed with seeing his walls chipped away. Almost as frustrating as Tahoe, Gina proved she was equally capable of driving me insane. She doesn't know her own value. Her history of being overlooked and betrayed has given her a serious inferiority complex and she walks through life masking her insecurities and self doubt. Between Gina's vulnerability and quiet insecurity and Tahoe's refusal to let anyone in, it was seriously impossible to imagine things progressing beyond the friendship barrier. They're maddening, these two. This is a throw-your-kindle-while-slamming-shots kind of read, people.

I live for a romance that has me seething with anger, swooning with lust, and ravenous to see where these characters take me. I had it all in Ladies Man. I got lost in this book. I felt so much all at once, I felt like I had whip lash from the rapid fire emotions I was made to feel with every turn of the page: impatience, longing, lust, profound attraction, hope and unadulterated anger. This book pissed me off like you would not believe (I am replaying one scene in particular over and over and over in my head and it still makes me want to scream), but it only made me hungrier for the ending I was so hoping existed. Ladies Man is pages and pages and pages of sexual tension. This book is one epic build toward something you just know is going to be huge, explosive, unforgettable. Katy Evans did not hold back with this one, hitting me over and over with a barrage of feels, unsettling uncertainty, and a sexy, unpredictable ride that I loved and hated to feel in equal measure.

Title: Black
Series: Standalone
Author: Aria Cole
Release Date: May 8, 2016!

A beast, alone with the horrors of his past, the scar on his face a constant reminder of the man he’s become.
A beauty, on the run with her life in a tailspin, finds herself on his doorstep seeking protection.
Deeply misunderstood and dedicated to his life of brooding solitude, Maxwell Black is hesitant to let Elle McKellan into his home where his hideous secrets hide. But he’s unable to resist the allure of this desperate stranger.
Soon the magnetism between them is undeniable, the temptation unbearable. Elle, reluctant to risk losing her heart to this dark and broken man, struggles against the sexual tension, only to surrender to the combustable heat between them.
When Elle’s life catches up to her and threatens to tear them apart, Maxwell will protect the precious love he’s found by any brutal means necessary.
“You're only twenty-one?” I ran a palm through my hair, thinking how I’d already had my dick between her legs, tasted her on my tongue. Jesus, she’s just out of high school. “How can you be so calm? Jesus, I nearly fucked you on my desk. Why didn’t you tell me you were only twenty-one?”

“It won’t make it any less true the more times you say it.” Her eyes flashed. “And we're not that far apart.” She shrugged, then popped a bite into her mouth.

“Not that far? Ten years seems pretty far to me,” I bit, never feeling so goddamn old as I did sitting next to her in all her pretty, youthful glory. Jesus, she was beautiful. Why was she even here with me? The angry bastard with the nasty scar? I didn’t deserve her.

“Hey, chill out.” She plucked a bite from the plate and held it out for me. I snagged it between my teeth and chewed, never breaking eye contact. Her eyes glistened with amusement as she watched me, her full lips tipped in a Cheshire grin.

“Fine. But maybe don’t tell anyone your age for now,” I ground through my teeth before tightening my palm at her thigh again.

A soft chuckle fell from her lips. “Who would I tell? You’re my only friend.” Her palm covered mine as she threaded our fingers together. “What’s with the hands on me all the time thing, anyway?” Elle uttered just as she took another sip of her beer bottle. A girl who drank beer, the walking embodiment of a man’s dream come true. She was so cool, calm, and collected, I could certainly take a play or two from her book.

“Let’s them know you’re mine,” I ground, still uncomfortable with the fact that she was so much younger than me.

“Yours?” She almost spit out her beer with her chuckle. “That’s a little soon, don’t you think?”

“Not when you know,” I answered simply. The silence fell and I knew her mind was probably on fire with thoughts again. “Listen, I don’t want anyone else thinking they have a chance with you. This shows them not to fuck with my property.” I squeezed at her thigh, thinking I’d explained myself sufficiently enough.

“Your property?” Elle hummed as she pushed her half-eaten plate of food away before downing the rest of her bottle. “Your property?”

Oh shit.

“Elle!” I hollered, my thick thighs pushing the table across noisy tile when I stood hastily. “Elle!” I took long strides out the door, feeling at my neck the burn of judgment from everyone in that small place. Fuck this. This was why I didn’t go out in public.

“Goddamn it, slow down!” I boomed down the sidewalk where I saw her clutching her purse and leveling me with a glare. Jesus Christ, this woman was going to be the death of me. “Don’t run from me like that again, hear me?” I cupped her elbow and pressed her body against the cool brick of the building. “You are mine.” I ran my nose up the curve of her neck and nipped at her soft earlobe. “Even if you don’t know it yet, I can feel it,” I grit and thrust my hands into her mass of wild waves, pulling her head to mine and fucking her with my tongue. She returned the gesture, but with more ferocity than she’d ever shown before. I yanked at both of her thighs and pulled her limbs around my waist, angling her against the wall, my cock nestled right between her legs, right where he liked being.

“I’m not yours,” she uttered in protest as she nibbled at my bottom lip.

“The fuck you aren’t.” I gripped at one thigh, my other hand trailing between us to find the slick skin under her skirt and beneath her panties. “And this.” I pulled my thumb through the silky hot flame of her pussy and brought it up to my mouth, letting her arousal glisten across my full lips. “Proves you’re a liar.” I sucked her sweet honeysuckle musk off my thumb, then pulled her lips to mine again, crushing her with bruising force as I tasted her, desperate for more. Always desperate for more when it came to sweet Elle.

Title: Marry Screw Kill
Series: Standalone
Author: Liv Morris
Release Date: APRIL 25, 2016

There are two men in my life.
I'm marrying one, want to screw the brains out of another, and by the time this story is complete, you may want to kill someone.
Marry Screw Kill
The choices are still pending...
The standalone you need to read sitting down.
WICKED. WILD. TWISTY. AND INTOXICATING. This story keeps you on the edge of your seat. I don't know if I breathed until the end. It was WHOA.

This was my first Liv Morris book and I was impressed. The writing was great. The plot was unique. And the characters were intense. I knew from the start that it was going to be an interesting journey. Just the blurb had saying, OMG!!!!! I mean that's one of the most captivating synopsis's I've ever read. Add in the HOT little cover and BOOM!

SERIOUSLY intrigued.

From the opening scene, MSK kicks you in the FEELS. There's no denying the thick haze of angst that hits you. We meet Harlow (our Heroine), who's just getting off work. She seems like a great girl. Level headed. Hard working. With a plan. But that night tragedy strikes and her life veers off course.

"You won’t regret this. I promise,” he whispers, then kisses his way down to my shoulder. He doesn’t know it, but regret filled my heart the second his lips met mine."

To be honest, this book is a challenge to review. I don't want to give ANY of the story line away. I almost feel as if doing that would take away from the organic ebb and flow of the plot. This is something you need to experience. It's something that's probably best going into blind. I would classify Marry Screw Kill as LIGHT romantic suspense.

So here's what you should know:

There are TWO MEN is this book.
One is NOT so great.
The other is AMAZING.
Harlow is OUR girl.
THIS IS NOT A CHEATING STORY. The blurb even says that.
It's NOT a love triangle.
It's a novel filled with an UNLIMITED amount of twists and turns.
The web of deceit that's weaved is WICKEDLY intense.
And Harlow is TANGLED in something that's quiet heartbreaking.

“When drowning, one grabs the first lifeline thrown without regard to who holds the rope.”

Also, I want to give a trigger warning for sensitive readers. I'm going to put this part in a spoiler tag. If you're like me, and hate to have any info on the plot before hand, SKIP THIS. This is PURELY a trigger warning for sensitive readers.

So.... I wanted to do a quick warning for those of you who are sensitive to sexual things. MSK is hard to describe, but I'm going to try. The line of sexual consent in this novel is sort of murky. At least for me it was. Harlow (our h) never actually says, "NO! I DON'T WANT THIS." But there are times where you can tell she doesn't want it. I felt it. I think in one scene she actually sheds a tear because she really doesn't want the attention she's getting. Again she doesn't, at ANY TIME, say, "NO." So... this is an individual thing. I know there are some VERY sensitive readers out there. I wanted to let you know. THAT BEING SAID, the author deals with this AMAZINGLY. And I never felt like it was a MAJOR deal. But it was something that made me rage in the moment for our sweet Harlow.

Overall, MSK was a fantastic read. Full of so much angst and pain. It's one that kept me in it's clutches from the first to the last page. Liv's a fantastic writer and I cannot wait to read more of her books. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique story! It was a great change of pace for me. The suspense was refreshing. And the characters really had me captivated until the last page. I loved it.

Title: Big Easy Temptation
Series: Perfect Gentlemen Bk #3
Author: Shayla Black and Lexi Blake
Release Date: May 3, 2016

The New York Times bestselling authors of the Masters of Ménage series present the third scintillating novel featuring the privileged, wealthy, wild men of Creighton Academy—the Perfect Gentlemen.
Years ago, Naval officer Dax Spencer and NCIS agent Holland Kirk indulged in a steamy affair—until she betrayed him in the wake of his father’s death. Dax tried to put her behind him with a payback of his own. But he never forgot Holland…
Now, as Dax and his fellow Perfect Gentlemen unravel a web of lies, he discovers his family’s tragedy is part of a much larger conspiracy. Soon, all clues point him back to New Orleans…where Holland waits, protecting her deadly secret and holding a torch for the only man she’s ever loved.
Once reunited, they can’t fight the passion flaring hot and wild. But something sinister lurks around every corner, from the elegance of the Garden district to the beauty of the bayou. Dax and Holland may find their way back to each other—if they survive...
“I’m going to kiss you now and I won’t stop unless you tell me to.”

“I won’t say a word,” she breathed.

He lifted his free hand to her hair, sliding out the elastic band holding the low ponytail she typically wore. He gripped the strands. “Soft as silk. Just like you.”

“I’m not soft, Dax.” She didn’t want him to think she was like the other women he’d been with. They likely had been sweet, feminine creatures. Holland couldn’t afford to be.

“Yes, you are. You can be strong and soft and silky all at the same time. That’s who you are and one of the reasons I find you interesting. I want to know every single facet of Holland Kirk. I want to be the man you explore with, experiment with, be true with.”

She had the feeling he wasn’t merely talking about sex. This was why she’d always hesitated. Dax wanted all of her, even the parts of herself she’d shut down and hidden and told herself didn’t matter. He wouldn’t accept anything less than the whole of her soul.

But if he gave her back the whole of his, wasn’t that worth it? If they were both vulnerable, they could learn to trust.

She leaned in and his lips finally met hers. Slow and steady. He took her mouth like a man indulging in decadence, as though knowing they would share the pleasure of sex made him willing to stretch this moment out to something rich and sinful.

Gently, he fisted a hand in her hair, lighting up her scalp with sensation as he took her lips more fully, clasping her body against his own. She softened, giving in to the demand of his mouth, his hands. And when his tongue slid over her lower lip, demanding entry, she couldn’t stop herself from flowering open for him.

Dax pulled her up and onto his lap. She clasped her arms around his neck, bringing him closer. She could feel his erection pressing against her, thick and hard. So big. She couldn’t help but wriggle a little, trying to get closer to him.

His arms tightened on her. “Stop it, sweetheart, or we’re going to have a problem. I want this to last. After waiting this long, I want to savor tonight.”

But she was already on the edge, dying for him to be on top of her, inside of her. “We should go to my bedroom.”

“We should set some ground rules first,” he growled against her neck. “Holland, I’m crazy about you, but you’re going to let me control sex. I’m not foolish enough to think I could control anything else in our relationship but I need you to let me handle this.”

“Why does anyone have to be in control?” She’d always been in the power position with the men in her bed. Ceding it to Dax both excited and scared her.

“Because, as you pointed out, I have more experience. And I’m wired to take control. We’re not going to go at it like two teenagers. Not this first time. Maybe later, when I know exactly how to touch you to get you hot.” Heat melted his dark eyes like chocolate. “But right now I have to figure out how to handle you, how to steer you the right way.”

“I’m not a boat, Captain.”

“Aren’t you?” He brushed a big hand over one of her breasts, cupping her flesh in his broad palm and making her gasp. “Everything that’s worth doing is worth doing right. Making love to you is definitely worth my best effort. See, this little nipple is begging for attention.” He dragged his thumb across the sensitive bud so slowly she bit her lip to hold in a moan. “Take off your shirt and your bra so I can give it the proper attention.”

His voice had dropped an octave and gone velvety. Holland found herself obeying him. Her fingers shook as she reached for the buttons of her shirt, twisting each and releasing it before moving to the next. She didn’t leave the comfort of his lap, but he sat back like a king watching the show, mentally undressing her with those eyes. There was something a bit forbidden about baring herself while his erection pressed so intimately against her.

Holland unfastened the last button and let her shirt fall away before she unhooked the front clasp of her bra. Her breasts were nothing special. She hit the gym three or four times a week to stay in shape. She considered herself more athletic than sexy, but the way Dax’s breath hitched and he affixed his stare to her bare mounds, as if he’d never seen anything sexier, made her rethink all that.

He dragged his heated palm down the valley between her breasts. “Sweetheart . . . I always knew you would be gorgeous without all those clothes. So beautiful.”

Until him, she hadn’t felt that way. Her body had been a tool to use in service of her job, a way to move about each day. When she’d had sex, she preferred to go to the bedroom, get the deed done, and get to sleep. Her few longer-term boyfriends hadn’t seemed to mind, but she got the feeling Dax would take exception to that routine.

With him, it meant far more to her than a rote activity, too.

He kissed her again, their tongues tangling as he explored her breasts, caressing her nipples, plying them with his touch. Fire licked through her system. She could feel herself getting wet and ready.

“Lean back for me. I’ll hold you and keep you safe.” His words rumbled over the sensitive flesh of her neck as he gently leaned her back, resting her over his arm until she arched and thrust her chest up to him like an offering.

“Yes, these little pearls need affection.” He tongued one, laving and sucking it.

She had to bite her lip to hold in a cry. She’d never thought her nipples were particularly sensitive, but that was because they’d never experienced Dax’s clever mouth.

She heard herself whimper as he sucked one bud deeper between his lips. He didn’t satisfy himself with a little lick, a short few seconds of suckling. Not Captain Dax Spencer. He indulged. He reveled. He caressed her with his tongue, tracing her areola before he sucked the tip back into his mouth and gave her the bare edge of his teeth. A tiny bite of pain flared before he soothed the bud with a soft laving. Her body balled into an ache, her sex throbbed as he shifted his attention to her left breast and gave it the same loving treatment.

“I want to kiss and lick and taste every inch of you, Holland. Do you know how long I’ve waited to be here? Years. Fuck, sweetheart, even before I met you, I dreamed about you. I’ve always known you’re the one woman who could make me feel, make me want forever.” He nuzzled her, the stubble of his hard jaw gently abrading her skin. “Stand up and take off your pants. I don’t want anything to stop me from touching you.”

Title: Dirty
Series: A Dive Bar Novel

Release Date: April 19, 2016!

Lydia Green doesn't know whether to burn down the church or sit and
cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it's with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later.
Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she'd marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he's all wrong-maybe it's time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.
After all, what's wrong with getting dirty?
Dirty by Kylie Scott had EVERYTHING I want and look for in a book. From flirty, sassy banter, to fun and wickedly awesome characters, it was perfection. To say I loved it would be an understatement. Every page was a delight and for me, it seemed like the smoothest, most organic romance I've read in awhile.

“Yes?” Despite my best efforts, my voice trembled slightly.
“Look at me.”
I did so. He still looked cranky and crazy cool while I remained a hot mess.
“I’m Vaughan,” he said.
He tipped his chin and silence fell between us once more.
With the tip of his tongue rubbing at his upper lip, he looked at the wide open window, and then back at me. Yep, that’s how I’d gotten in. Houdini had nothing on my mad skills.

Lydia and Vaughan's connection is magic! And although instantaneous, it felt authentic. Every moment between our Hero and Heroine brimmed with pure heart. The conversations, the way they got to know each other... it was effortless. Even the pacing of the story never felt rushed, it had a languid and natural feel. Honestly, the entire book was delicious. A sweet and sexy romance that had my heart pitter pattering and held me completely captive from beginning to end. I just ADORED it.

Vaughan, a struggling musician, and Lydia, a bride on the run, meet quite unexpectedly. (I'm laughing just thinking about it.) Lydia the runaway bride, finds out something that not only crushes the illusion of the life she thought she was supposed to have, but it makes her itch with an unbearable, burning need to run. And run she does. She takes off and ends up inside Vaughan's bathtub. Man, their first meeting is so funny, but at the very same time it makes your heart ache all over. At least for me it did. I felt for Lydia. My heart broke for her. And I'll admit I even shed a tear or two. This woman's entire world has just been upended. But it's a good thing that she has Vaughan and fate on her side!

Vaughan's reaction to finding Lydia is ... well, it's priceless! Priceless and perfect. And their perfectly messy meeting spurs this fantastic, fun friendship that turns into a friends with benefits thing, and ends in an unforgettable romance. ***shivers***

"Tall, lean, and firm in all the right places, Vaughan Hewson was a girl’s wet dream. Luckily I respected him for his mind." <<--- HAHAHAHAHAHA! She's so cute!

To me, Lydia's personality was wonderful. I wanted to be her friend. She is my kind of girl. Her reactions to the people around her, the way she processes life and stressful situations, I just related to her. And Vaughan, well he's struggling! His dreams haven't exactly gone the way he thought they would. His band has fallen apart and letting go isn't in the cards. I think, at times, he was harsh, but overall the way he is with Lydia..... SWOOOOOOOOOON! He isTOTALLY sexy!

This story really had FLOW. It had HEART. It had SOUL. It made me LAUGH. It made me CRY. It made me SWOON. It made me FEELLLLLLL! There isn't a single thing I would change about it. Each character from Joe, Nell, Pat, Andre, Rosie, Eric, Vaughan, and Lydia was unique and wonderful. Kylie Scott is an INCREDIBLE story teller with writing that just sang a beautiful song to me.

I cannot wait for more in this series. I. AM. HOOKED. Joe's book--Twist--can't come fast enough! And I must say, I'm practically salivating over Nell and Pat. I'm hoping they get a book because GAHHHHH! THEY. NEED. A. STORY.

Overall Dirty was just fabulous. A sweet, steamy, and fun start to a fresh series that I think will be one of myFAVORITES.

"It was hard to look at him. The expression on his face and the way he held his body, the emotion in his eyes. My world was so colored when it came to him. Every detail so vivid and real. He shouldn’t have that power. It would have been so much easier to leave him otherwise. I’d broken into his house, but he’d somehow broken into me, cracked me wide open, exposing me to so much more of life than what had existed before." <<---- GAH! LOVE THAT!

Hehehehehe --->>>
“I’m glad you felt my ass worthy of your attentions.”
“No problem.”
“And I want you to know, minute you give me the signal and lift-up your shirt I’ll be more than happy to give your breasts all the best lines I’ve got.”
“That’s sweet.” I took a sip of my coffee, trying to keep a straight face. In my infinite wisdom, I’d raised the subject of s*x. Now here we were, my pulse speeding, heading straight toward a panic attack over the way he looked at me. How insane. I both wanted, and didn’t want, his attention with all of my heart. “I’ll give some thought to your shirt suggestion.”
“Wish you would,” he said. Oh, that sly little smile of his. It made my everything go weak.

Title: Stuck-Up Suit
Series: Standalone Novel
Author: Penelope Ward + Vi Keeland
Release Date: April 11, 2016

From the New York Times Bestselling authors of Cocky Bastard, comes a sexy new standalone novel.
It started out like any other morning on the train.
Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle.
He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.
Who did the stuck-up suit think he was...God?
Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.
When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.
I might have picked it up.
I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.
I might have held onto the mystery man's phone for days―until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.
When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.
So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk's office.
I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.
I didn't expect him to text back.
I didn't expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.
I didn't expect to fall for him―all before we even met.
The two of us couldn't have been any more different.
Yet, you know what they say about opposites.
When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract―we consumed each other.
Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn't prepared for where I'd wind up when the ride was over.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.
I've been trying to figure out what I want to say in this review. WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN WITH MY SWOONFEST? I mean, Stuck-Up Suit was so good. It was amazing on a level that can't get any better. I still cannot believe how FANTASTIC it was--not that I was expecting it to be horrible or anything, but I was not expecting THAT.

I'll admit, I haven't read Cocky Bastard--the first standalone novel Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward co-authored. I'm ashamed I missed it. After reading Stuck-Up Suit, I can't imagine what's waiting on me. My plan is to remedy that soon, but right now I must find words for this. This morsel of perfection. This delicious little gem that gave me shivers and then proceeded to give my shivers some shivers. This novel that had me swooning so hard love hearts started flickering behind my eyelids. I fell madly in love with Graham and Soraya!

So let me paint this picture for you. This is my 'journey' with Stuck-Up Suit!

On page one, I'm hooked. I'm loving it. It feels like I'm having THE BEST TIME EVER. So... here I am, coasting down the book freeway (just pretend a second, I'm setting the scene), my windows are down, the cool air is kissing my skin, and I'm swooning. Swooning like a girl who just discovered Henry Cavill hiding in her closet, butt ass naked, with a box of candy.

Graham Morgan is owning me and I'm FUCKING SWOONING, PEOPLE. My vision is zeroed in on this man! This ONE is going to be MINE.

So anyway...

We're cruising and all I'm seeing is Graham. We are headed STRAIGHT to love fest avenue, to the Hubba Hubba chapel **laughs**, to be married. But on the way, I begin to notice the clouds up ahead. They're darkening. Not a ton, but enough to make me to go, "hmmm." However.... I can't really focus on that, because my man's saying all these PERFECT things to Soraya (who is really me in book form) and we (me in real life and in book form) are SO IN LOVE WITH HIM. SO WHOLLY in love. And while we're lost in our complete OBSESSION, the clouds rumble and the wind begins to whip our book(ish) car around.

THE DREADED TWIST!!!!! It has begun.

So we are blowing this way and that way. We can't get a handle on what we're seeing. And I am screaming... "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. OMG. IT CAN'T. NO WAY," to my bookself. But the storm is on. AND a TORNADO has arrived, it's blazing, and the next thing I know, I'm OUT COLD.

I did NOT see it coming.
Not even a little.
I sensed some trouble, for sure, without a doubt, but NOTHING like that.

And maybe it's because I was so enamored with lines like this....

"I’m so unbelievably attracted to you, Soraya. And your body right now is telling me you feel the same way about me."
"It doesn’t matter how good-looking you are. You’re a dangerous human being.”
"You have no idea how dangerous I am when I want something. I will stop at nothing to get it. And there’s nothing more that I want right now than you."

And sexy things like this ....

"There’s only one end to this."
"And what’s that?"
"Me buried deep inside of you."
"That can’t happen."
"Every damn night, I dream about that fucking tongue ring swirling around my cock. You’re all I can think about. In fact, you were all I could think about before I even saw your gorgeous face. But after that happened, I was a goner." I caressed her cheek again. "Just spend time with me."

I MEAN FOR GOODNESS SAKE! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL SWOONY THINGS... "Just spend time with me." <<----- DIESSSSSSSSSS! DIESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! DEAD. Of course I will. Graham Morgan, I'll spend ALL MY TIME WITH YOU! Never doubt.

**** Sigh ****

Ladies, he is without a doubt the best thing ever. I've said it a ZILLION times, but I'm so in love with him. I didn't see the pain up ahead, but it didn't even matter, because this man is ONE in a MILLION. He put me and Soraya back together. He did it easily. What should have been a hard thing for our Heroine to take in was handled with love and compassion. He not only did what he needed to, but he did it with grace and STRENGTH, with respect and love, with tender care and dignity that I felt everywhere.

Stuck-Up Suit inspires such a rush of emotions from the reader. Between the possessive and protective instinct you have for the characters, to the utter enthralling need to see them happy and content.

Soraya and Graham may be opposites in every way, but there's never a moment where they don't accept each other exactly the way they are. Their differences don't define their relationship, they strengthen it. It's a beautiful thing. These two are magic.

Honestly, I loved everything about this story! From the moment where Graham loses his phone, to the second Soraya finds it. To when our Hero and Heroine officially meet, and the sweet, sinful, and heart warming romance develops from that point on. From the heartrending twist that made me feel tender all over, to the story that unfolds with aching beauty after. It's was wonderful! A memorable read that I cannot get enough of.

Penelope and Vi write flawlessly together. This had so much heart. Stuck-Up Suit is not only sexy, but fun and heart warming. It's my newest favorite. A TOP 2016 read. I highly recommended it.

Outside of the restaurant, Graham’s black car was already curbside.  He must have had it waiting and called the driver when I went to the restroom.
“If you’re not going to come home with me, I insist on at least giving you a ride home to your place.”
“The subway is right around the corner.  I’m good.”
He shot me an annoyed glance.  “Give a little, Soraya.  It’s a ride home, not a ride on my cock.  And I think you know by now that I’m not a serial killer.”
“You’re so crass.”
He put his hand on the small of my back and steered me to the waiting open car door.  I didn’t put up a fight.  Graham was right, I was being stubborn while he had pretty much agreed to anything I demanded.  Something told me it was a rare occasion when the man was this flexible.
When we arrived at my apartment, Graham walked me to the door.
“When will I see you again?”
“Well, tomorrow is Saturday, so I suppose maybe Monday on the train.”
“Have dinner with me again tomorrow?”
“I have plans.”
His jaw flexed.  “With whom?”
We embarked into a lengthy stare off.  His gaze was hard.  When neither of us gave for a few minutes, he grumbled Christ under his breath, and before I realized what was happening, my back was against the door, and his mouth was on mine.
He kissed me as if he wanted to eat me alive.  Before releasing my mouth, he took my lower lip between his teeth and tugged.  Hard.  With his lips vibrating up against mine, he spoke.  “Don’t push me to my limit, Soraya.”
“Why?  What will happen?”
“I’ll push back.  And I’m trying not to do that with you.”
He was being honest, and I realized I should appreciate that.  “To my sister’s house.  It’s my niece’s birthday party.  That’s where I’m going tomorrow night.
He nodded.  “Thank you.”
It took every bit of my willpower to go inside and shut the door behind me.  I leaned my back against the door, unable to remember the last time I was so hot and bothered.  Maybe not ever.  His mouth was sinful; the thought of what he could do with that wicked tongue other places on my body kept me in a state of arousal that bordered on frenzied.  But it was more than that.  The way he was so dominating and controlling, yet exercised restraint to respect my wishes, was the sexiest thing I’d ever seen.  The man stimulated something that had been sleeping inside of me.  I needed a glass of wine and an orgasm.  Not necessarily in that order.  If I was going be firm on my stance that we get to know each other and not have sex, then taking things into my own hands was absolutely essential.
In my bedroom, I stripped out of my clothes.  I didn’t sleep naked every night, but tonight was definitely a bare evening.  As I slipped into bed, my cell rang.
“Is phone sex on the table?”  Graham’s voice was a needy rasp.  Whatever cooling off my body had done since I left him on the other side of the door was instantly reheated.  His voice could definitely speed things up for me.  But…
“Sex is off the table.  That should probably include all types of sex.  Intercourse, oral, phone.”
He groaned.  “Oral.  God, I want to taste you.  And feel that metal tongue ring on my cock.  You have no idea how difficult it was to control myself tonight every time I caught a glimpse of that metal when you spoke.  It’s like you’re taunting me with every word.  What are you wearing, Soraya?”
That voice.  I needed to record him saying What are you wearing, Soraya?  So I could play it over and over again in a loop when I needed to satisfy my own needs.  “I’m actually not wearing anything.  I just got undressed and slipped into bed.”
“You sleep naked?”
He actually growled.  “Touch yourself.”
“I plan to.  But I think I’m going to need both hands tonight.  So I’m going to hang up first.”
“How long do you plan on driving me crazy, Soraya?”
“Good night, Graham.”  I hung up without waiting for him to respond.  Even though my body physically ached for the man, I wasn’t ready to open that door with him just yet.  Although as I glided my hand down my body alone in my bed, the only thing I could think of was God, I wish it was his hand.
