Title: Dirty
Series: A Dive Bar Novel
Author: Kylie Scott
Release Date: April 19, 2016!

The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that comes with her.
Lydia Green doesn't know whether to burn down the church or sit and
cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it's with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later.
Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she'd marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he's all wrong-maybe it's time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.
After all, what's wrong with getting dirty?
Dirty by Kylie Scott had EVERYTHING I want and look for in a book. From flirty, sassy banter, to fun and wickedly awesome characters, it was perfection. To say I loved it would be an understatement. Every page was a delight and for me, it seemed like the smoothest, most organic romance I've read in awhile.

“Yes?” Despite my best efforts, my voice trembled slightly.
“Look at me.”
I did so. He still looked cranky and crazy cool while I remained a hot mess.
“I’m Vaughan,” he said.
He tipped his chin and silence fell between us once more.
With the tip of his tongue rubbing at his upper lip, he looked at the wide open window, and then back at me. Yep, that’s how I’d gotten in. Houdini had nothing on my mad skills.

Lydia and Vaughan's connection is magic! And although instantaneous, it felt authentic. Every moment between our Hero and Heroine brimmed with pure heart. The conversations, the way they got to know each other... it was effortless. Even the pacing of the story never felt rushed, it had a languid and natural feel. Honestly, the entire book was delicious. A sweet and sexy romance that had my heart pitter pattering and held me completely captive from beginning to end. I just ADORED it.

Vaughan, a struggling musician, and Lydia, a bride on the run, meet quite unexpectedly. (I'm laughing just thinking about it.) Lydia the runaway bride, finds out something that not only crushes the illusion of the life she thought she was supposed to have, but it makes her itch with an unbearable, burning need to run. And run she does. She takes off and ends up inside Vaughan's bathtub. Man, their first meeting is so funny, but at the very same time it makes your heart ache all over. At least for me it did. I felt for Lydia. My heart broke for her. And I'll admit I even shed a tear or two. This woman's entire world has just been upended. But it's a good thing that she has Vaughan and fate on her side!

Vaughan's reaction to finding Lydia is ... well, it's priceless! Priceless and perfect. And their perfectly messy meeting spurs this fantastic, fun friendship that turns into a friends with benefits thing, and ends in an unforgettable romance. ***shivers***

"Tall, lean, and firm in all the right places, Vaughan Hewson was a girl’s wet dream. Luckily I respected him for his mind." <<--- HAHAHAHAHAHA! She's so cute!

To me, Lydia's personality was wonderful. I wanted to be her friend. She is my kind of girl. Her reactions to the people around her, the way she processes life and stressful situations, I just related to her. And Vaughan, well he's struggling! His dreams haven't exactly gone the way he thought they would. His band has fallen apart and letting go isn't in the cards. I think, at times, he was harsh, but overall the way he is with Lydia..... SWOOOOOOOOOON! He isTOTALLY sexy!

This story really had FLOW. It had HEART. It had SOUL. It made me LAUGH. It made me CRY. It made me SWOON. It made me FEELLLLLLL! There isn't a single thing I would change about it. Each character from Joe, Nell, Pat, Andre, Rosie, Eric, Vaughan, and Lydia was unique and wonderful. Kylie Scott is an INCREDIBLE story teller with writing that just sang a beautiful song to me.

I cannot wait for more in this series. I. AM. HOOKED. Joe's book--Twist--can't come fast enough! And I must say, I'm practically salivating over Nell and Pat. I'm hoping they get a book because GAHHHHH! THEY. NEED. A. STORY.

Overall Dirty was just fabulous. A sweet, steamy, and fun start to a fresh series that I think will be one of myFAVORITES.

"It was hard to look at him. The expression on his face and the way he held his body, the emotion in his eyes. My world was so colored when it came to him. Every detail so vivid and real. He shouldn’t have that power. It would have been so much easier to leave him otherwise. I’d broken into his house, but he’d somehow broken into me, cracked me wide open, exposing me to so much more of life than what had existed before." <<---- GAH! LOVE THAT!

Hehehehehe --->>>
“I’m glad you felt my ass worthy of your attentions.”
“No problem.”
“And I want you to know, minute you give me the signal and lift-up your shirt I’ll be more than happy to give your breasts all the best lines I’ve got.”
“That’s sweet.” I took a sip of my coffee, trying to keep a straight face. In my infinite wisdom, I’d raised the subject of s*x. Now here we were, my pulse speeding, heading straight toward a panic attack over the way he looked at me. How insane. I both wanted, and didn’t want, his attention with all of my heart. “I’ll give some thought to your shirt suggestion.”
“Wish you would,” he said. Oh, that sly little smile of his. It made my everything go weak.
